Therapy for Women

I specialize in providing therapy for women in all seasons of life. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Tennessee, and a Nationally Board Certified Art Therapist, it is my desire to help each woman heal from past or present wounds, pursue multi-faceted health, and to be a more fully integrated whole person. All services are provided through a secure online, HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform for any individuals residing in California or Tennessee.

Whole-Person Approach

Overall health and fulfillment in life comes from a balance and integration of emotional, physical, relational, intellectual, and spiritual healthiness. Through using a whole-person approach, I address all the areas of a person’s life, with the goal of helping each woman move towards multi-faceted health, wholeness, and integration of all the aspects of themselves.

Living Wholeheartedly

The goal of therapy is transformation of heart, mind, and life! Often people seek therapy as a result of an unwanted life transition or change; the end of a relationship, the death of a loved one, or because they can no longer tolerate the status quo of their present lives. Therapy is an invitation to enter into a new season of change. It requires honesty with oneself, courage to face the hard truths about reality, and the commitment to see the process through to the other side. This is why having a traveling companion for the journey is so vital. Through a compassionate and empathetic therapy relationship, I will walk alongside you as you explore the depths of your heart and life, and avail yourself of the transformation that is possible. It is my desire for each person to unveil their truest, authentic self, and live a full and wholehearted life. In my therapy work, we will together explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Then, through compassion and curiosity, we will examine the core feelings, belief systems, and coping methods that are hindering you, while identifying the attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that will foster more authentic and wholehearted living.
